Remaining true to our core we found inspiration once more in our love for design. This time revisiting the 70's . A prominent era for Scandinavian interior design. And a particular experimental era in general, pushing the boundaries of space and function and challenging the status quo of interior and furniture design as a whole. Juxtaposing (natural) materials with contrasting characteristics which resulted in avant garde objects that we still enjoy to this day.

Contrast and contradiction, an inherent part of Royal RepubliQ DNA. Our designs are often looking for the boundaries of "normal" by contrasting the expected with the unexpected. Drawing further inspiration from the interior world, in particular furniture design, we combined canvas with suede and leather. Incorporated construction technics, and introduced hand crafted designs mimicing the cage constructions so familair to the 70's designs. The color pallete is purposely left neutral not to draw away from the designs. The pallete for this season; calm sand, earthy taupe, a deep rich brown and warm biscotto.
